Cleanup and readability.
- The privacy policy now explains Google’s advertising cookies, how to turn off personalized ads, and consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. The terms and about page match it.
- Older privacy and terms text inside the app has been removed. The app links to the pages above instead, so there is one version of each policy.
- On phones, menus, buttons, and small labels are larger and easier to tap.
- A site icon, and a “page not found” page with links back to the test, lessons, games, and guides.
Later the same day:
- The six lesson pages (home row, top row, bottom row, full alphabet, numbers, and punctuation) are rewritten and much longer. Each one now covers finger placement, technique, what the drill contains, common mistakes, short practice drills, and how to tell when you are ready for the next lesson. The drills themselves haven’t changed.
- The empty grey “Advertisement” boxes are gone from the home, practice, learn, games, and rankings screens.
- New 10-key test for the number pad, scored in keystrokes per hour, with four drills, a 10-key tab in Global Rankings, and a 10-key guide.

Added guides and policy pages alongside the tools. Practice, Learn, the three games, rankings, and profile export work the same way.
There is now an About page naming Eric Lewis as the publisher, stating that the tools are free to use and that the site is intended to be ad-supported, and giving sales@sumnubooks.com as the contact for corrections and privacy requests. The guides index links the new pages.

Privacy and terms are real addresses, with the date moved to this shipment. Each guide and policy page has its own address, so you can bookmark or share it.
Earlier
The site already had the practice test, six lessons, three games, rankings, profile export, and in-app copies of the privacy and terms text dated May 2025 (removed on September 30, 2026). If a guide and a home paragraph ever disagree about the WPM formula, trust What is WPM.
How this log will grow
The next entry will be written when a guide, a scoring description, or a legal page actually changes. A typo inside a word list may not get a paragraph. A new claim about what a score means will. If the product drifts away from a sentence in a guide, that is a bug in the writing or a bug in the tool. Both are worth an email to sales@sumnubooks.com.
