Top row is a reach, not a new rest. Fingers go up and come back to A S D F and J K L semicolon. The list uses words that need the upper keys: we, you, type, quiet, write, poetry, quote. A word is finished only if the finger that reached has returned. Leaving the left index parked near R is how the bumps disappear by line three.
Q is the left pinky, W the ring, E the middle, R and T the left index. Y and U are the right index, I the middle, O the ring, P the pinky. People swap T and Y. If “type” feels like one hand is doing everything, both letters went to the same finger. Slow that word until the hands alternate.
